McDonald’s India Marks International French Fries Day with Donation Drive for Children in Lucknow Village

Lucknow: International French Fries Day was celebrated with a meaningful community outreach initiative as McDonald’s India, in collaboration with the Kiran Foundation, organised a “Fries Donation Drive” for children in Village Bangali Khera on the outskirts of Lucknow.

The initiative aimed to spread happiness among children by distributing freshly prepared French fries while encouraging community participation and the spirit of giving. Volunteers from Kiran Foundation and McDonald’s Lucknow interacted with the children, creating a cheerful atmosphere filled with smiles and shared moments of joy.

The distribution drive was carried out with the support of Varchasva, Upanshu, Isha Yadav, Dr. Brijesh Yadav, Naman, Ananya, and members of the McDonald’s Lucknow team, who actively participated in the event.

Organisers expressed gratitude to Amrisha, Project Head of the Kiran Foundation, for coordinating the programme and making the initiative possible. They also thanked McDonald’s India for continuing its partnership with the organisation in supporting community welfare initiatives. Also present at the venue was patron of Kiran Foundation, Vishal Srivastava.

The event highlighted the importance of corporate-community collaboration in creating positive social impact and demonstrated how small acts of kindness can bring happiness to children while strengthening community bonds.
