‘Lex Adieu 2026’ Farewell Celebrated at Rohilkhand University Law Department

Bareilly: The Department of Law at M.J.P. Rohilkhand University hosted a vibrant farewell ceremony titled “Lex Adieu 2026” for final-year LL.M. Self-Finance students. The event was organized by students of the LL.M. Self-Finance Second Semester to bid an affectionate farewell to their senior counterparts.

The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp before Goddess Saraswati by Head of the Department, Amit Singh. The occasion began on a devotional note with a Saraswati Vandana presented by Aishwarya.

Addressing the gathering, Prof. Amit Singh extended his best wishes to the graduating students and encouraged them to pursue excellence in their professional and personal lives. He expressed confidence that the students would make meaningful contributions to the legal profession and society.

The farewell event featured an array of cultural performances by students of the LL.M. Second and Fourth Semesters. Participants including Aishwarya, Anshika Vajpayee, Rakhi Pawar, Naman, Shubham Yadav, Anurag, Komal, Pratigya, Nikita, Prabha, Karan Pratap Choudhary, Prateek Kumar Sharma, and Narendra entertained the audience through music, dance, and other creative presentations.

A major attraction of the event was a series of engaging activities and talent-based contests organized by junior students for the outgoing batch. The final-year students participated in legal quizzes, acting performances, singing, mimicry, dance, and other multi-tasking challenges that added enthusiasm and excitement to the celebration.

Based on their overall performance and participation, Komal was crowned Miss Farewell, while Karan Pratap Choudhary received the title of Mr. Farewell for the LL.M. Self-Finance programme.

The successful organization of the event was supported by Course Coordinator Dr. Naim Uddin and students of the second semester, including Anshika Vajpayee, Shubham Yadav, Rakhi Pawar, Naman, Anurag, and Aishwarya. The programme was jointly anchored by Anshika Vajpayee and Rakhi Pawar.

Several faculty members attended the ceremony, including Dr. Shehnaz Akhtar, Dr. Anuradha Yadav, Ms. Preksha Singh, Dr. Amit Kumar Singh, Dr. Naim Uddin, Dr. Sachin Rastogi, Mr. Sachin Kumar, and Dr. Nidhi Shankar. Students from the LL.M. Self-Finance Second and Fourth Semesters, along with university staff members Mohit, Ram Vachan, Ram Nath, and Gulab Singh, were also present.

The event concluded on a cheerful and emotional note, celebrating the achievements of the outgoing students while strengthening the bond between junior and senior batches of the Department of Law.
