The statement released by the banner emphasized that Studio LSD has a strict policy of never charging any money, registration fees, or deposits for auditions, casting opportunities, or role confirmations. The production house made it clear that any individual, casting coordinator, or organization demanding money while claiming to represent the company is “completely unauthorized and fraudulent.”
Studio LSD, which currently has two television shows on air — Tumm Se Tumm Tak and Humnaava Mere Tum Dena Saath Mera — stated that the misuse of its name has become a serious concern. The makers expressed disappointment that fraudsters are taking advantage of the dreams and ambitions of struggling actors and newcomers trying to enter the entertainment industry.
Addressing the issue, producer Prateek Sharma said, “It is disappointing to see people misusing the name of Studio LSD and attempting to deceive aspiring actors. We have always believed in maintaining a transparent and genuine casting process. We urge everyone to stay cautious and not fall prey to fake audition offers or anyone asking for money in exchange for opportunities.”
The production house further informed that any suspicious activity or fake communication claiming association with Studio LSD should immediately be reported through the company’s official email ID and verified channels. The notice also warned that strict legal action would be initiated against anyone found misusing the banner’s identity for fraudulent activities.

Fake audition scams have increasingly become a major issue across the entertainment industry, especially with the rapid rise of social media platforms and unofficial casting groups. Fraudsters often lure aspiring actors by promising television roles, web series opportunities, or celebrity meetings in exchange for money. Many newcomers, unaware of standard industry practices, end up becoming victims of such scams.
Through this public advisory, Studio LSD has urged actors, models, and aspiring performers to rely only on verified communication from official company representatives. The banner also advised people to avoid sharing personal details, photographs, or financial information with unknown agents or casting coordinators operating through unofficial channels.
The production house reiterated its commitment to maintaining transparency and professionalism in the casting process while encouraging people to stay vigilant and spread awareness about fraudulent audition scams within the entertainment industry.
