Lucknow: Sanskriti Pandey and Aarav Goel Conferred with the Prestigious Badges of Head Girl and Head Boy

GD Goenka Public School successfully organized its prestigious Investiture Ceremony for the 2026–27 academic year on 9 May 2026 at the Open Air Plaza.The event brimmed with enthusiasm and dignity as it formally inducted the newly elected Student Council, celebrating the essence of leadership, discipline, responsibility, and service.

The ceremony honoured Chief Guest Babloo Kumar, IPS (2009 batch) and Joint Commissioner of Police (Law & Order) renowned for his exemplary service, strong leadership, and unwavering commitment to law and order. His achievements and dedication inspired the students and budding leaders in attendance.

The program began with a ceremonial welcome for the Chief Guest, followed by a symbolic plant-watering ritual representing growth, responsibility, and the nurturing of future leaders. The Principal Dr PrernaMitra’s Welcome Address highlighted leadership grounded in integrity, compassion, and accountability.

A key highlight was the solemn Badging and Oath-Taking Ceremony. Newly elected Student Council members received their badges and pledged to uphold the school’s values with dedication. The Principal administered the oath amid dignitaries, teachers, parents, and students.

Aarav Goel coveted the post of Head Boy, while Sanskriti Pandey held the prestigious position of Head Girl. Shreet Yadavand Prajakta Agarwal were appointed as Vice Head Boy and Vice Head Girl, respectively. In the Junior Student Council, AdvikAwasthi and Vedika Singh were elected as Junior Head Prefects.

The school choir enriched the occasion with a stirring rendition of the School Song, evoking patriotism and emotion. The Head Boy Aarav Goelthen addressed the gathering, thanking the school management and teachers for their trust in the council’s leadership.

On this occasion, the Chief Guest Babloo Kumar, in his address to students, urged them to lead with honesty, discipline, courage, and empathy. He stressed that true leadership means selfless service and standing firm for justice, leaving the audience deeply motivated to become responsible, compassionate citizens.

The Chairman of the school, Dr SarveshGoel, congratulated the council and encouraged them to lead with confidence, humility, and commitment while upholding the school’s rich traditions.

The event concluded with the Head Girl Sanskriti Pandey’s heartfelt Vote of Thanks and the National Anthem, creating a lasting impression of youth leadership, excellence, and responsibility.
