Gonda: In a vibrant and morale-boosting initiative ahead of the passing-out parade, a grand “Cultural Evening” and traditional “Bada Khana” ceremony was organized at the Reserve Police Lines parade ground in Gonda district.
The event was formally inaugurated with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Inspector General of Police, Devi Patan Range, Amit Pathak, District Magistrate Priyanka Niranjan, and Superintendent of Police Vineet Jaiswal.
Organised to celebrate the successful completion of nearly nine months of rigorous and disciplined training by recruit constables, the event featured a series of cultural performances presented by the trainees. The performances reflected enthusiasm, talent, and a strong sense of unity among the recruits.
Following the cultural program, senior officials interacted with the recruits, appreciating their dedication, discipline, and commitment throughout the training period. The officials encouraged them to uphold the core values of policing, including integrity, duty, and public service, as they prepare to join the Uttar Pradesh Police force.

In a gesture symbolising camaraderie and mutual respect, senior officers personally served food to the recruits and shared the meal with them. The traditional “Bada Khana,” where officers and जवान dine together, created an atmosphere of warmth, boosting morale and strengthening the bond between leadership and the trainees.
Officials also shared their professional experiences, motivating the recruits to carry forward the principles of honesty, discipline, and an eagerness to serve in their future roles. The event highlighted the importance of teamwork, coordination, and esprit de corps within the police force.
Notably, after completing their intensive training, the recruit constables will soon participate in the upcoming passing-out parade and formally become part of the Uttar Pradesh Police, taking on the responsibility of maintaining law and order and serving the public.
