Gonda Police Personnel Honoured for Outstanding Service on 80th Independence Day

Gonda: Police officers and personnel who demonstrated outstanding performance, dedication and commitment to duty were honoured on the occasion of the 80th Independence Day with awards and commendation certificates from the Director General of Police, Uttar Pradesh, and the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

Gonda Superintendent of Police Vineet Jaiswal felicitated 28 officers and personnel of the civil police, along with a government advocate and a prosecution officer, for their commendable work and contribution.

Four police officers—Inspector Chandramohan Singh and Sub-Inspectors Kaushal Kishore Singh, Purnmasi Prasad and Manish Kumar—were honoured with the Commendable Service Medal of the Director General of Police, Uttar Pradesh.

Sub-Inspector Kamal Kishore Mishra received the President’s Medal for Distinguished Service from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. Head Constables Ashutosh Kumar Tiwari, Dayashankar, Randhir Kumar Singh, Junaid Ahmad, Vikas Kumar Yadav, Vipin Kumar, Yogendra Kumar Chaudhary, Fakhre Alam, Hriday Narayan Dixit, Ajay Kumar and Suraj Tripathi were honoured with the Police Medal for Meritorious Service.

Several personnel were also recognised for their dedicated and responsible service in Gonda district. They included Additional District Government Counsel Anupam Shukla, Assistant Prosecution Officer Pawan Kumar Pandey, Reserve Inspector of Police Lines Ajay Pratap Singh, Confidential Assistant to the Superintendent of Police Avnish Kumar, Sub-Inspector Manish Jat, in-charge of the Surveillance Cell, Sub-Inspector Ram Prasad of Chhapia police station, Sub-Inspector Indradev Sahni of the Local Intelligence Unit, Sub-Inspector Prashant Pandey of Kotwali Nagar, Women Sub-Inspector Arpita Yadav of Kotwali Nagar, Sub-Inspectors Rahul Maurya and Anand Upadhyay of Kotwali Dehat, Head Constable Anand Prakash of Dhanepur, Head Constable Shakti of the LIU, Head Constable Rakesh Singh of the SOG, Head Constable Raghavendra of the Traffic Office, Constable Amit Gaur of the Cyber Cell, Constable Hridesh Singh Yadav of PRV Dhanepur, Firemen Gopal Gupta and Akash Yadav, Constable Suryapratap, Paikar of Dhanepur, Reserve Constable Shashank Yadav of Chhapia, Constable Bhupendra Pratap of Khargupur and Woman Constable Kusum Yadav of the Summons Cell.

In addition, seven personnel associated with UP-112 were recognised for commendable performance, quick response times and prompt and appropriate action. The recipients included Commanders Rajesh Sharma, Ramkishore and Abhay Maurya, and pilots Atul Tripathi, Rakesh Chaubey, Harigovind Singh and Ghanshyam Dubey.

Congratulating all the award recipients, SP Vineet Jaiswal appreciated their outstanding performance, dedication and commitment to duty. He encouraged them to continue discharging their responsibilities with the same sincerity and devotion in the future.

The recognition highlighted the contribution of police personnel and associated legal and prosecution officials in maintaining effective public service and upholding professional standards in Gonda district.
