Bareilly: District Magistrate Avinash Singh chaired a review meeting with officials of the Child Development and Nutrition Department at the Collectorate auditorium on Saturday, focusing on improving monitoring systems, recruitment transparency, and welfare outreach.
During the meeting, the DM directed officials to ensure timely data entry on the government portal for children transitioning from Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) to Moderate Acute Malnutrition (MAM), as well as those recovering to a healthy status. He emphasized that delays in updating records could adversely affect the district’s performance on the Chief Minister’s dashboard, urging strict compliance to maintain accurate rankings.
Highlighting the importance of fair hiring practices, the District Magistrate instructed that the recruitment of Anganwadi workers be conducted in a transparent and impartial manner. He underscored that the entire process must strictly adhere to established rules and should remain free from any external pressure or inducement. Officials were also directed to complete the recruitment process within one month.
Chief Development Officer Devyani, who was also present in the meeting, announced a special campaign for the creation of Ayushman cards for Anganwadi workers and सहायिकाएँ. The drive will be conducted from April 20 to 22, with Panchayat Assistants facilitating card generation at the ग्राम पंचायत level. All CDPOs and supervisors have been instructed to ensure that eligible personnel in their respective areas are covered under the scheme.

The meeting was attended by the District Programme Officer, all CDPOs, supervisors, and other concerned officials.
