Grand Inauguration of Mangai River Bridge Draws Massive Crowd in Ghazipur

Lucknow/Ghazipur: A grand and historic event marked the inauguration of the under-construction bridge over the Mangai River in Ghazipur district, drawing thousands of villagers and public representatives, turning the event into a vibrant public celebration.

The programme was graced by Justice Shekhar Kumar Yadav of the Allahabad High Court as the Chief Guest. The event was presided over by former Mohammadabad Block chief Ramkrit Yadav, while the ceremony was led by social workers Ramakant Yadav and Kalika Yadav.

Several prominent figures attended the event, including former MP Jagdish Kushwaha, district president of Yadav Mahasabha Sujeet Yadav, executive district president Ramgyan Singh Yadav, Samajwadi Mahila Sabha state secretary Punita Singh, Block Chief Sachche Lal Yadav, former district president Rajesh Kushwaha, SP leader Madan Yadav, Zila Panchayat member Paras Yadav, and Captain Subba Yadav, among others.

Addressing the gathering, Justice Shekhar Kumar Yadav said the bridge was not merely a physical structure but a symbol of collective resolve, cooperation, and public participation. He emphasized that when society unites, even the most challenging tasks can be accomplished. He also stressed that governance and administration should play a supportive role in such public welfare initiatives to ensure uninterrupted development.

Highlighting the importance of the project, Sujeet Yadav described the bridge as more than just a means of transportation, calling it a gateway to opportunities for farmers, labourers, and the common people. He noted that the project represents unity, hard work, and sacrifice, and will pave the way for future development in the region.

The event witnessed participation from thousands of villagers and local stakeholders, reflecting strong community engagement and enthusiasm. The newly inaugurated bridge is expected to significantly improve connectivity, boost economic activities, and enhance social integration in the surrounding areas.
