Gonda – The fifth day of the National Service Scheme (NSS) special camp at Saraswati Devi Nari Gyansthali P.G. College witnessed a series of awareness and community service activities on Friday. The programs were conducted at the campus of Maharshi Arvind Bal Shiksha Mandir with active participation from student volunteers.
The day began with a cleanliness drive in the surrounding area, followed by a yoga session conducted by yoga trainers Anjani Kumar Dubey and Karunesh Patel. The session focused on promoting physical fitness and healthy living among the volunteers.
Later, under the guidance of program officers Dr. Mausami Singh and Dr. Neetu Singh, the NSS volunteers organized a rally to spread awareness about water conservation. During the rally, students interacted with villagers and highlighted the importance of saving water and protecting natural resources.
After lunch, a slogan-writing competition on the theme of water conservation and protection of the Earth was held. Ritika Mishra secured the first position, while Shraddha Gangwar came second and Ananda Mishra stood third. Consolation prizes were awarded to Radha Mishra and Purnima.

As part of the intellectual session, cybercrime expert Hariom Tandon delivered an informative talk on cyber safety and rising cybercrime incidents. He guided students on how to stay safe online and avoid digital fraud.
NSS staff members Vijay Prakash Srivastava and Dinesh Srivastava also played a significant role in organizing and supporting the activities throughout the day. The event aimed to encourage social awareness, community engagement, and responsible citizenship among students.
