LUCKNOW | The second day of the District Level Junior Boys/Girls competitions, organized by the Directorate of Sports, U.P., and the Regional Sports Office, Lucknow, saw high-energy performances in Gymnastics and Volleyball at the K.D. Singh ‘Babu’ Stadium.
Gymnastics: Young Athletes Shine
The gymnastics segment featured intense competitions across disciplines including Floor Exercise, Vaulting Table, and Balancing Beam. The event was overseen by Regional Sports Office In-charge Shri Rajesh Kumar Gaur, alongside National Judging Qualified Gymnastics Coach Narmita Yadav and other officials.

Volleyball: BKT Emerges Victorious
The District Level Junior Boys Volleyball tournament commenced at 9:00 AM today with 10 teams competing in a knockout format.
- Semifinal 1: Army Public School-3 vs. K.D. Singh Babu Stadium.
- Semifinal 2: BKT vs. Army Public School-2.
- Final Match: In a thrilling final encounter between BKT and K.D. Singh Babu Stadium, the BKT team emerged as the champions, while K.D. Singh Babu Stadium took the runner-up title.
Important Schedule Update: Fencing
The Regional Sports Office has announced a change in the schedule for the Junior Boys/Girls Fencing competitions. Originally scheduled for March 10, the event will now take place on March 13, 2026, at the Vinay Khand Stadium in Gomti Nagar.
