CMS Aliganj II Campus Organises Project-Based Learning (PBL) Culmination Ceremony

Students’ Innovative Models Leave Parents Awestruck

Lucknow: A grand ceremony marking the culmination of Project-Based Learning (PBL) activities was organised under the aegis of City Montessori School, Aliganj II Campus. Parents were mesmerised by the socially relevant science models and projects prepared by the students. The exhibits reflected the students’ creativity, curiosity and practical understanding of real-life concepts. A large number of parents attended the event and highly appreciated the CMS education system, expressing gratitude to the teachers for their efforts towards the holistic development of the future generation.

During the ceremony, students of CMS Aliganj II Campus displayed a wide range of projects and science models. While some students demonstrated the ecosystem through models of aquifers, rainwater harvesting systems and lakes, others promoted environmental awareness through creative activities such as pebble painting, leaf painting and stone painting. Students of Class IV presented 3D models of buildings under the theme “Building Wonders – The Journey of Constructing a Building”, highlighting different stages of construction along with information about the people involved in the process and the materials used. Meanwhile, Class V students worked on the theme “Lake Explorers”, where they shared their learning from educational visits and demonstrated the aquatic ecosystem. The students confidently explained their models in detail and responded to the questions of parents and visitors.

On this occasion, parents expressed their gratitude to CMS for enhancing students’ experiential learning through Project-Based Learning.  Shweta Gupta, mother of CMS student Ishani Gupta, said that children learned many new concepts through these projects. Mariam, mother of Class IV student Mohd. Aslan, remarked that the way CMS provides practical learning experiences to children is truly commendable and perhaps unmatched by many other schools. Appreciating the event, she added that such programmes greatly enhance children’s interest in learning. Several other parents also praised the event and thanked the CMS management.

Speaking on the occasion, the Principal of CMS Aliganj II Campus, Samvida Adhikari, said that CMS is committed to the holistic development of its students and this ceremony is another step in that direction. She emphasised that the school will certainly live up to the trust that parents place in CMS by sending their children to the institution. Ms. Adhikari also expressed heartfelt gratitude to the parents for their support and cooperation in school activities.
