“Amiphoria-2026 Concludes with Electrifying Energy, Celebrating Talent and Creativity!”

Sufi Night and Kavi Sammelan Make Amiphoria-2026 Unforgettable

Lucknow: The three-day cultural extravaganza Amiphoria-2026, celebrating youth spirit, creativity, and innovation, concluded on a high note today with a grand valedictory ceremony, followed by the electrifying and much-anticipated Sufi Night performance that enthralled the audience.

With an overwhelming participation of over 7,000 students, Amiphoria-2026 featured a wide spectrum of competitions and activities spanning cultural, literary, technical, and creative domains. Major highlights included Mr. & Miss Amity competition, Amity Designer Award-2026, Amity Idol Season-7, Kala Sangam, Taal-Mel, Adaygi: Saaz aur Awaaz 2.0, Squid Game, Klectika 5.0, Rangmanch 3.0, Aap Ki Adalat, Pratibha Sangam 3.0, Virtual Vortex 3.0, Mehndi Fiesta, Kala Aur Kalam, Amiquest, Anicon 2.0, Technosapien-2026, Kagazi Minaar, and Riddle Rush 2.0, among several other engaging events.

The festival culminated with the distribution of prizes, certificates, and mementos to the winners and participants, leaving them with cherished memories and a sense of accomplishment.

The valedictory ceremony was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Anil Vashisht, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Amity University Lucknow Campus; Wg. Cdr. (Dr.) Anil Kumar Tiwari, Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor; Dr. Rajesh Tiwari, Dean Academics; Dr. Rajeev Varma, Chairman, Amiphoria-2026; along with heads of departments and faculty members.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. (Dr.) Anil Vashisht commended the enthusiasm, dedication, and teamwork demonstrated by students, faculty, and organizers, stating that Amiphoria provides an important platform for nurturing talent, creativity, and holistic development. He also distributed prizes and certificates to the winners of various competitions.

A major highlight of the concluding day was the grand Kavi Sammelan, organized jointly by the Abhivyakti Club and the Department of Information and Public Relations. The event featured renowned poets from across the state, including Ajhar Iqbal (Meerut), Chirag Sharma (Aligarh), Manika Dubey (Jabalpur), Balvant Singh (Lucknow), Shaswat Singh Darpan (Lucknow), and Chandrashekhar Verma, who captivated the audience with their soulful and thought-provoking compositions.

Shaswat Singh Darpan earned immense appreciation for his poignant lines, “Wo jiski bahon mein kuch pal sukoon mila, usi ke hathon pe mere jigar ka khoon mila.” Prof. Balvant Singh’s powerful ghazal, “Mere pyar ki shiddat se mar jayenge, nafrat karne wale zillat se mar jayenge,” received thunderous applause. Chirag Sharma’s emotional ghazal, “Tumhe ye gham hai ki ab chitthiyan nahin aatin, hamari socho hame hichkiyan nahin aatin,” resonated deeply with listeners.

Poet Chandrashekhar Verma moved the audience with his couplet, “Dil mohabbat mein hai toota to marammat kijiye, aur marammat ke liye phir mohabbat kijiye.” Poetess Manika Dubey’s evocative lines, “Dukh bhare ashq ko bhi paani bata dete hain, log mushkilon ko kyun aasani bata dete hain,” drew heartfelt appreciation. Ajhar Iqbal mesmerized the audience with his poem, “Jo patthar thi kabhi ab phool hoti ja rahi hai, wo ladki prem ke anukul hoti ja rahi hai.”

The festival also witnessed a mesmerizing Sufi Night on its concluding evening, which added a spiritual and soulful dimension to the celebrations. The renowned Saadgi – The Sufi Band, Lucknow captivated the audience with their powerful renditions of popular Sufi classics such as Dama Dam Mast Kalandar, Piya Re Piya Re, Sanu Ek Pal Chain Na Aave, Lagi Tumse Mann Ki Lagan, and Chaap Tilak Sab Chhini Re. Singers Kumar Sunny and Vinit enthralled the audience with their soulful voices, creating a magical sufiyana atmosphere and leaving the listeners spellbound.

The festival concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Rajeev Varma, Chairman, Amiphoria-2026, who expressed gratitude to the university leadership, faculty members, student organizers, participants, and guests for their invaluable contributions in making the event a grand success.
