Bareilly: The Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJPRU) successfully conducted a three-day national-level hands-on workshop on Robotics, IoT, and Embedded Systems under the guidance of Vice-Chancellor and mentorship of Dean Prof. Archana Gupta.
The workshop was coordinated by Dr. Mukul Kumar Gupta, with Dr. Atul Sarojwal serving as organizing secretary, Dr. Inderpreet Kaur as co-coordinator, and Dr. Ramji and Dr. Rohit as co-organizers.
Amitoj Singh, founder and technical expert of AmRobo.in, conducted practical sessions for participants covering Arduino basics, Raspberry Pi, “Idea to Prototype” development, Fusion 360, GitHub, and the use of various sensors.
Over the three days, students engaged in project-based learning, building models such as line follower robots and home automation module systems. On the final day, participants were tasked with designing their own prototypes using available components. All 20 teams showcased exceptional innovation, presenting projects like “Marine Sense AI,” “Stampede Prevention System,” “Room Intelligence System,” and “Workspace Auditor.”

The projects were evaluated by a distinguished jury comprising Dr. Ashish Jain and Dr. Hari Kumar Singh. During the closing ceremony, Prof. Yatendra Kumar presented awards to the winning teams and highlighted that such workshops encourage innovation, technical proficiency, and a startup-oriented mindset among students.
The workshop concluded amid an enthusiastic and celebratory atmosphere, with participants expressing eagerness for similar future events.
