Boho Fest Day 2 Closes with Soul, Sound, and a City Fully Present

Lucknow: If Day 1 announced Boho Fest’s arrival, Day 2 confirmed its belonging. As the city leaned into the final chapter of its first-ever music and cultural festival, Lucknow didn’t just attend—it participated, fully and wholeheartedly.

The afternoon opened gently on the Indie Stage with Ansh Thakur, whose set felt like a quiet conversation between artist and audience. It was intimate, rooted, and unmistakably local—exactly the kind of beginning Day 2 needed. As the sun began to soften, Piyush Kapoor took over with a Sundowner performance that shifted the mood effortlessly. Rhythms swelled, bodies moved, and the festival grounds turned into a shared exhale, a collective release as daylight gave way to dusk.

Keeping the emotional arc intact, Jatin Sharma and the Supergroup delivered a performance that was less about individual brilliance and more about collaboration. Their seamless set tied together the day’s musical narrative—fluid, layered, and deeply human—building anticipation for what was to come on the Main Stage.

Folk Roots and Emotional Highs

As night settled in, the Main Stage belonged to Mame Khan. With his unmistakable folk resonance and commanding presence, he drew one of the largest crowds of the festival. His performance transcended genre and generation, turning the grounds into a sea of stillness punctuated by awe. It was one of those rare moments where a city listens together.

The closing act carried a different kind of weight. Paresh Pahuja, performing live in Lucknow for the first time, brought Boho Fest 2025 to a close with tenderness and introspection. His set wasn’t loud, but it lingered—each note landing softly, yet staying long after the final chord. It was a serene ending to a festival that understood the power of restraint as much as spectacle.

More Than Music

What truly set Day 2 apart was everything happening beyond the stages. The Healing Zone continued to draw those seeking stillness, with sessions like Tai Chi and guided breathwork offering pause amid the buzz. The Art Forest stood alive with creativity, showcasing works from artists across the region—each piece adding texture to the festival’s cultural canvas.

The Flea Market and Food Market were in full swing, buzzing with conversations, flavours, and curiosity. From handcrafted finds to experimental bites, visitors showed up in support of local artisans and culinary innovators. Meanwhile, the Kids Zone remained a lively corner of joy, reinforcing Boho Fest’s promise as a truly all-ages experience.

Earlier in the day, a press conference at the festival grounds brought together the Deputy Director of Uttar Pradesh Tourism and the festival leadership. Their reflections highlighted Boho Fest’s growing role as a cultural landmark—not just for Lucknow, but for the state—emphasising how public participation and institutional support can shape meaningful, sustainable cultural platforms.

A Beginning Disguised as an Ending

As the final notes faded, people stayed. Conversations continued. The lights dimmed slowly. Day 2 didn’t feel like a goodbye—it felt like a pause.

Boho Fest’s inaugural edition closed not with a bang, but with belonging. In those lingering moments, it became clear that Lucknow had embraced something new—something its own. And as the city walked away from the grounds that night, it carried more than memories. It carried the quiet certainty that this was only the beginning of a new cultural chapter.
