‘Bharat Ka Share Bazaar’ Pavilion Concludes Successful 14-Day Run at IITF 2025

New Delhi: The “Bharat Ka Share Bazaar” Pavilion, set up by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) in collaboration with major Market Infrastructure Institutions and industry bodies including NSE, BSE, MCX, NCEDX, NSDL, CDSL, CAMS, KFintech, AMFI and NISM, concluded its impactful 14-day participation at the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan.

Aligned with this year’s theme “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat,” the Pavilion showcased how a transparent, technology-driven securities market plays a vital role in shaping a “Viksit Bharat.”

Inauguration Emphasises Trust and Technology

The Pavilion was inaugurated on November 14 by Tuhin Kanta Pandey, Chairman, SEBI. In his address, he reiterated SEBI’s commitment to the “4Ts”—Trust, Transparency, Technology and Togetherness—and highlighted the growing role of AI and machine learning in strengthening market surveillance and investor protection.

A Fortnight of Learning and Investor Engagement

Throughout the 14-day fair, the Pavilion attracted thousands of visitors and served as a hub for financial education through:

  • Live market demonstration zones

  • Investor service and grievance facilitation counters

  • Expert talks, quizzes, and interactive sessions

  • Muppet skits aimed at younger audiences

  • Hands-on modules that promoted safe and informed investing

Visitors were also introduced to SEBI’s digital initiatives, including Validated UPI handles, the SEBI Check facility, the Unified Investor App, voluntary account freezing options, and faster demat settlements through direct credit of securities. These tools helped enhance public understanding of fraud prevention and secure investment practices.

Recognised for Excellence in Outreach

The Pavilion received a special award from ITPO in the Public Communication and Outreach category. The award was accepted by a SEBI team led by Kamlesh Chandra Varshney, Whole-Time Member, SEBI. The recognition underscored the Pavilion’s success in delivering inclusive, accessible, and engaging investor awareness activities.

Strong Public Response

Emerging as one of the most popular attractions at IITF 2025, the Pavilion drew appreciation from students, investors, professionals, and senior citizens for its clear, interactive approach to financial literacy. It stood out for promoting informed participation in India’s securities markets and encouraging responsible investment behaviour.

The “Bharat Ka Share Bazaar” Pavilion not only demonstrated the robustness and transparency of India’s securities market but also played a vital role in enhancing public awareness on safe investing. Its ITPO award further reaffirms SEBI’s dedication to investor protection, financial empowerment, and nation-building.
