Mission Shakti Phase-5.0: Women Empowered Through Awareness Program in Shahjahanpur

Shahjahanpur – Under the supervision of the Deputy Superintendent of Police (Rural), Shahjahanpur, a large-scale women’s empowerment and awareness program was held at the One-Stop Centre in the Kotwali police station area as part of Mission Shakti Phase-5.0. The event aimed to educate women and girls on self-defense, cyber security, women’s rights, and safe conduct on social media.

Senior police officials, including the City and Tilhar Station Officers, trainee officers, and staff associated with the One-Stop Centre, participated in the program. Demonstrations of simple self-defense techniques were conducted by female constables, while interactive sessions encouraged young women to take leadership roles in schools and society. Participants were also given hygiene and health kits, including sanitary pads and biscuits.

Addressing the attendees, the DSP emphasized that an educated, confident, and self-reliant woman strengthens society. Women were encouraged to be aware of their rights and seek immediate help from police in unsafe situations. Information on helplines such as 1090, 112, 181, and cyber helpline 1930 was shared.

The event fostered an atmosphere of enthusiasm, confidence, and motivation. Participants actively engaged and pledged to embrace the message of empowerment, recognizing themselves as vital contributors to positive societal change.

Mission Shakti Phase-5.0 continues to organize such initiatives across Shahjahanpur district to enhance women’s awareness, self-defense skills, and leadership abilities.
