Ayodhya: Deepotsav 2025 illuminated not just the ghats of the Sarayu, but also the pride and spirit of the youth, who declared Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath their “youth icon.” From Ram ki Paidi to Ram Katha Park, every corner of the city glowed with devotion to Lord Ram and showcased the achievements of the Yogi government.
Students and volunteers from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University played a central role in organizing the grand celebration. Displaying discipline and dedication, they ensured seamless arrangements and set a remarkable example of teamwork. “CM Yogi connects directly with the youth. He has transformed Ayodhya’s image and given equal importance to faith and development,” said several students proudly.
Devotion in Design: Swastik Made of Thousands of Lamps
Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Sarita Dwivedi, traditional rangoli and lamp art turned Ram ki Paidi into a visual spectacle. A massive Swastik formation made of thousands of diyas became the spiritual centerpiece of the festival, drawing wide admiration from devotees. Professors and students collaborated to create multiple artistic displays that enhanced the cultural charm of Deepotsav.
“Ayodhya Looks Like Heaven” – Sanskrit Students
Students of Sanskrit, engaged in ritual preparations, expressed emotional pride. Karan Pandey, an MA student from the local Gurukul, said, “This year’s Deepotsav feels like witnessing heaven on earth. Since Yogi Adityanath became CM, Sanatan values have grown stronger. His presence at Ram Katha Park inspired us deeply.”
Youth Overwhelmed with Pride
Ashutosh Singh, a student from Sultanpur studying at Avadh University, said, “Ayodhya has completely transformed. Deepotsav is no longer just a religious celebration—it has become Ayodhya’s identity. This festival fills us with pride.”
Volunteers Set an Example of Discipline and Service
At Ram ki Paidi and Sarayu ghats, volunteers managed massive crowds with calm efficiency. Their discipline, devotion, and service-oriented approach turned the festival into a well-organized and emotionally uplifting event. Shouts of “Jai Shri Ram,” rows of glowing diyas, and the youthful enthusiasm in the air transformed Ayodhya into a vibrant confluence of faith and energy.
Deepotsav 2025 proved that Ayodhya is not just the city of Lord Ram—it is a symbol of renewed cultural pride, youth leadership, and a shining example of modern development rooted in devotion.
