Mumbai– The much-anticipated film The Paradise, directed by Srikanth Odela, has already created a buzz with the unveiling of its first look. Starring Natural Star Nani, the film has been in the spotlight since its announcement, especially after Odela’s earlier blockbuster Dasara.
In preparation for this grand cinematic spectacle, the production team has constructed a giant slum set over five months, a project that demanded extraordinary coordination between the art, direction, action, and choreography departments.
The challenge, according to the makers, was to recreate a slum that looked less like a mere settlement and more like a sprawling empire. Unlike real slums, which organically use every inch of space, the set had to be meticulously designed with multiple segments that came together as one massive structure. A striking centerpiece of the set is a grand arch symbolizing the palace of the kingdom depicted in the story.
Production designer Avinash Kolla explained, “The Paradise required a completely different approach to set design. We needed to build not just a large-scale slum but also a living, breathing world that plays a crucial role in the narrative. This involved extensive research, mock-ups, and miniature models before final construction. Even now, two more large-scale setups are in progress.”

With the backing of SLV Cinemas, The Paradise is set to release on March 26, 2026, in eight languages – Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, English, Spanish, Bengali, Kannada, and Malayalam.
This collaboration between Nani and Srikanth Odela marks another ambitious venture after the success of Dasara, promising audiences an epic cinematic experience that blends raw storytelling with grand visuals.
