LUCKNOW – The upcoming Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS-2025), a key initiative of the Yogi government, will be a grand fusion of not only craft and culture but also cuisine. Under the “Taste Uttar Pradesh” theme, visitors will be able to explore the diverse culinary landscape of the state, with 25 dedicated food stalls set up from Gate No. 3 to Hall No. 7 at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida. The third edition of the event will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 25 and will run until September 29.
This food and beverage section is designed to give both domestic and international buyers an authentic experience of Uttar Pradesh’s rich gastronomic traditions. The stalls, each measuring 3×3 meters, will be housed within a large 75×6 meter hangar, ensuring ample space and a seamless experience for visitors. Adequate power supply (100-kilowatt load) is being arranged to ensure the smooth operation of all stalls.
This initiative goes beyond just a food festival; it is a strategic effort to brand Uttar Pradesh’s food and empower MSME entrepreneurs by giving them a platform to reach national and international markets. The “Swaad UP Ka” (Taste of UP) section aims to establish the unique identity of each district on a global stage. This culinary showcase is also expected to boost gastronomic tourism in the state.
