Lucknow: In a gesture of compassion and service, Shrimati Ravi Sewa Kendra distributed chilled water bottles and biscuits to patients and their attendants at the King George’s Medical University (KGMU) Trauma Centre on Sunday, praying for the speedy recovery of the ailing.
A large number of attendants expressed gratitude to the organisation for offering free cold water and refreshments, especially valuable relief in the scorching summer heat.
According to the centre’s convenor, Amit Kumar, this initiative is carried out every Sunday at the Trauma Centre, where water and food items are distributed free of cost to patients’ attendants. He further added that individuals wishing to fulfil personal pledges or commitments can also contribute to this noble cause.

For the past five years, Shrimati Ravi Sewa Kendra has remained committed to supporting patients and their families. The organisation has extended its services not only to cancer patients but also to those battling other illnesses, staying true to its mission of care and community service.
With initiatives like these, the organisation continues to stand as a pillar of hope, compassion, and service for the people of Lucknow.
