Lucknow: Vivekananda Polyclinic & Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, will organize a free Cardio-Thoracic and Vascular Surgery Camp for the benefit of the general public on Sunday, August 24, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The camp will be held at the Deluxe OPD located on the ground floor of the institute.
During the camp, patients will be examined and counseled free of cost by experienced doctors and trained paramedical staff. Following the camp, selected thoracic and cardio-vascular surgery patients will receive appointments for consultation with Prof. (Dr.) Bhabatosh Biswas, MS, DNB, MCh (Cardio-Thoracic Surgery), FRCS (Edin.), PhD, a renowned senior consultant with over 40 years of experience in the field of thoracic and cardio-vascular surgery.
In addition to specialist consultations, necessary diagnostic tests such as ECG and Random Blood Sugar (RBS) will also be provided free of cost to all patients attending the camp.
This initiative is aimed at providing much-needed cardiac care services to underprivileged sections of society in Lucknow and nearby areas. The management has urged the public to take advantage of this opportunity and spread awareness so that maximum people in need may benefit.
