Synergy University Explores Campus in Uttar Pradesh: Key Step Toward International Academic Collaboration

Lucknow: In a significant move to expand quality higher education in Uttar Pradesh, Higher Education Minister Yogendra Upadhyay held a virtual meeting with representatives of Synergy University, Moscow. The discussions focused on the possibility of establishing a Synergy University campus in the state.

Speaking from his official residence in Lucknow, Minister Upadhyay highlighted the transformational reforms in the education sector under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He emphasized that Uttar Pradesh, being the most populous state in India, offers immense potential for investment in higher education. The state government, he said, is committed to facilitating such initiatives in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

He invited the university’s delegation to visit Uttar Pradesh and hold formal meetings with government officials to explore land allocation, infrastructure support, and regulatory processes.

Minister of State for Higher Education Rajni Tiwari also addressed the meeting, stressing the importance of providing world-class education within the state. “The participation of international universities will strengthen Uttar Pradesh’s academic landscape and reduce the need for students to migrate to other states or abroad,” she said.

The virtual meeting (via Zoom) was attended by senior state officials including Principal Secretary (Higher Education) M.P. Agrawal, Special Secretary Nidhi Srivastava, and Director of Higher Education Amit Bhardwaj.
