No More Tanning Woes! Beat the Summer Sun with This DIY Multani Mitti Face Pack

Lucknow: With the scorching summer sun in full swing, tanning, sunburns, and dull, dry skin are becoming common concerns. Spending long hours outdoors not only zaps the skin’s moisture but also leaves behind an unwanted tan. While Multani Mitti (Fuller’s Earth) is a known natural remedy, many find it falling short when used alone. But worry not! A simple kitchen ingredient—turmeric—can boost its effectiveness and offer real results.

Here’s a quick, effective DIY face pack that combines Multani Mitti with other natural ingredients to fight tanning, soothe sun damage, and revive your skin’s glow.

Why Multani Mitti and Turmeric Work

Multani Mitti helps cleanse pores, tighten skin, and reduce excess oil. Turmeric, on the other hand, is rich in antibacterial and antifungal properties, making it a powerful ally in reducing acne, pigmentation, and sun tan. Together, they form a potent blend for radiant skin.

Ingredients for the Face Pack

  • Multani Mitti – 3 teaspoons

  • Turmeric – 1 teaspoon

  • Gram Flour (Besan) – 1 teaspoon

  • Curd (Yogurt) – 2 teaspoons

  • Rose Water – ½ teaspoon (optional)

For dry skin: Replace curd or rose water with milk or add a Vitamin E capsule for added nourishment.

How to Use

  1. Mix all ingredients into a smooth paste and refrigerate for 10 minutes.

  2. Meanwhile, cleanse your face with a mild face wash and pat dry.

  3. Apply the chilled pack evenly on the face and neck using clean fingers or a brush.

  4. Leave it on for 15–20 minutes.

  5. Rinse off with cool water and pat dry.

Use this pack 3 times a week for best results. Regular use will reduce tanning, soothe irritated skin, and bring back your natural glow—without the need for expensive treatments.

Say goodbye to summer skin troubles—naturally and effectively!
