Washington: In a significant crackdown following President Donald Trump’s declaration of a national emergency at the border, the United States has arrested over 500 individuals attempting to cross the border illegally. According to the White House, a total of 538 intruders have been detained by U.S. military forces. Additionally, 373 detainees have been taken into custody for further investigation.
Reports from the White House indicate that hundreds of these individuals have already been deported on military aircraft. President Trump had declared a national emergency at the U.S.-Mexico border shortly after assuming office to curb illegal immigration and strengthen national security.
