Instructions given to strengthen extensive cleanliness and other necessary arrangements at various ghats and places of worship. The devotees and worshippers coming for Chhath Puja should not face any kind of inconvenience
Lucknow: In view of the Chhath Mahaparva of public faith, Finance and Parliamentary Affairs Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Minister in charge of Lucknow district, Suresh Kumar Khanna has instructed the District Magistrate Lucknow and Municipal Commissioner to strengthen extensive cleanliness and other necessary arrangements at various ghats and places of worship in the district. He has said that the devotees and worshippers coming for Chhath Puja organized at various ghats of Lucknow should not face any kind of inconvenience.
The Minister in charge has instructed that along with cleanliness, proper arrangements for lighting should be made on all the ghats. He has also given instructions for the arrangement of pure drinking water for the devotees coming to the ghats. He has said that keeping in mind the convenience of the devotees, all types of arrangements should be ensured, so that the worshippers of Chhath Mahaparva do not face any interruption in the process and purity of their fast, worship and arghya.
Khanna has instructed that better cleanliness arrangements should be specially ensured at Chhath Puja Ghats and places of worship and around them and on the access roads. Along with this, security arrangements for women and mobile toilets by the Municipal Corporation should also be made at the Ghats and places of worship.
