Lucknow: Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Backward Classes Welfare and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Uttar Pradesh, Narendra Kashyap inaugurated the ‘Divya Deepawali Mela-2024’ organized by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities. There was a grand exhibition of items prepared by the Divyangjans in this fair. About 25 government and non-government organizations set up their stalls in this fair.
The Divyangjans displayed many items like colorful lamps, fancy candles, urns, flower pots, rangoli, aarti plates, torans, pendants, various types of Lakshmi-Ganesh idols, cow dung and clay lamps, jute bags and teddy bear. He urged the society to use the items made by the Divyangjans so that they can get financial encouragement
