Lucknow: Prayagraj Mahakumbh 2025 is an important religious festival. Mahakumbh will be organized from 13 January to 24 April 2025. It is known that this event takes place once every 12 years and it is one of the largest human gatherings in the world, in which millions of devotees come from all over the world.
It is worth noting that Kumbh Mela was organized in Prayagraj in the year 2013. Then in 2019, Ardh Kumbh was organized in Prayagraj and now Maha Kumbh is to be organized in 2025.
Administration busy in preparations
Preparations are in full swing for the world’s largest religious, cultural and spiritual event Maha Kumbh-2025 to be held in Prayagraj next year. Under this, for the best arrangement of accommodation of crores of devotees, four thousand guides will be trained for the convenience of the people along with tent city, home stay, hotel etc. on a large scale. This information was given by the state’s Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh on Monday. Jaiveer Singh said that about 4000 guides will be trained for the convenience of tourists in the Maha Kumbh-2025. The age limit for training is 18 to 60 years and the minimum educational qualification required is 12th pass.
Training will be given in different ways
Each batch will have 60 people. The training of guides will last for 5 days, while sailors, taxi drivers and stakeholders will be given one-day training. He said that in this way trained human resources will be prepared for the Maha Kumbh. Jaiveer Singh said that more than 40 crore devotees are expected to come in Maha Kumbh 2025, for which preparations are in full swing. Under this, the training program by the Tourism Department has started from today at Hotel Ilavert. Manyavar Kanshiram Tourism Institute, Lucknow is organizing a 5-day guide and 1-day training program for sailors, taxi drivers and stakeholders.
The Tourism Minister said that after the training, all the participants will be provided a kit, which will include pen, notepad etc. along with the certificate. At the same time, after the fair starts, all the trainees working from January will also be given honorarium. Interested applicants can register with the Tourism Department.
