Gonda: A grand Teachers’ Felicitation Ceremony, titled the ‘Nation Builder Award’, was organised jointly by Rotary Club Gonda Green and Tanishq Gonda at the Tanishq showroom in Gonda. The event celebrated educators for their outstanding contribution to the field of education and expressed society’s gratitude for their role in shaping the future of students and the nation.
The chief guest, Varsha Singh, Vice-President of Lal Bahadur Shastri Degree College, Gonda, said teachers are not only guides for society but also the foundation of nation-building. She said recognising the contribution of teachers is a moral responsibility of every citizen.

“A teacher shapes the future of students through knowledge, values and guidance,” Singh said, emphasising that educators play a crucial role in developing responsible citizens and strengthening society.
Rotary Club Gonda Green President Rotarian Anil Kumar Mittal, Secretary Rotarian Dr Alok Kumar Agrawal, Treasurer Rotarian Chetan Agrawal, along with Rotarians Surendra Pal Singh, Jyoti Mittal and Pooja Chhabra, welcomed the guests and honoured the participating teachers.
Representing Tanishq Gonda, Kamal Shah, Vimal Shah, Umesh Shah, Gunjan Shah, Sunita Shah, Vidhi Shah and Amarendra Sharma also played an important role in welcoming and felicitating the guests and educators.
A total of 25 teachers from the basic, secondary and higher education sectors were honoured for their significant contributions to education. The awardees included Dr Trilochan Singh, Dr Rajiv Agrawal, Dr Rekha Sharma, Dr B.P. Singh, Dr Jitendra Singh, Dr Arvind Sharma, Dr Manoj Mishra, Dr Sandeep Srivastava, Dr Sanjeev Agrawal, Dr Shailendra Nath Mishra, Ashok Tripathi, Rishi Shukla, Sharad Singh, Devendra Singh, Ravi Mishra, Anand Shukla, Rachna Mishra, Rachna Paul, Roli Srivastava, Rimpi Alang, Mausami Singh and Mohit Srivastava, among others.

Each honoured teacher received a certificate of appreciation, an angavastram and a plant as a token of recognition and respect for their educational service.
The programme was efficiently conducted by Rotarian Ashok Tripathi. Rotarians Gopal Mittal, Love Sharma and Ankit Agrawal delivered the vote of thanks and expressed gratitude to all the guests, award recipients and members of the gathering.
They said initiatives that recognise teachers help strengthen awareness about the importance of education in society and encourage the younger generation to develop greater respect for educators.
The ceremony concluded with the felicitation of the award-winning teachers and a group photograph. Those present appreciated the joint initiative of Rotary Club Gonda Green and Tanishq Gonda to honour educators and highlight their contribution to society and nation-building.
