Pindoria: The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Ranveer Rananjay Postgraduate College (RRPG) organized a ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ awareness rally on the third day of its seven-day special day-and-night camp at Shri Rambali Singh Upper Primary School, Pindoria.
During the rally, NSS volunteers visited households in selected villages, spreading awareness about the importance of girls’ education and empowerment. They also painted slogans on walls to reinforce the message.
Following the midday meal, a seminar was conducted on the same theme. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Manvendra Pratap Singh from the Science Department highlighted that girls are advancing faster than boys in various fields, crediting government initiatives for this progress.
Other speakers, including Dr. Vijay Kumar Singh, Gyanendra Pratap Singh, and Dr. Vivek Singh, shared their insights on the topic. The event saw active participation from NSS program officers, along with volunteers Ritesh, Kumar Mangalam, Abhinandan, Pranjal, Tanvi, Shrejal, Jyoti, and Shiva, who played key roles in making the initiative a success.
The special camp continues to focus on social awareness and community development, engaging students in meaningful activities for rural upliftment.
