Mumbai: In Rahul Kumar Tewary’s Jagadhatri, Mona Vasu is donning the role of ACP Geeta Ahlawat, a fierce, disciplined and deeply righteous police officer who brings a very different energy to the show. The Zee TV drama follows Jagadhatri, a woman balancing family complications with a secret life as an intelligence officer, as she finds herself pulled into investigations, danger and constantly shifting alliances. The show has built its storytelling around action, suspense, family drama and revelations, giving its characters plenty of room to operate in shades of grey.
Mona’s Geeta occupies an interesting space within that world. She isn’t there simply to move the plot forward. She brings the authority of the police force into a story already filled with secrets and competing agendas.
