New Delhi. After disagreement over seats with Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav, Pallavi Patel will contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in alliance with AIMIM.
This was formally approved in the press conference in Lucknow this afternoon. Meanwhile, there were also reports that Pallavi Patel is in talks with Mayawati and she will contest the elections with BSP. But it did not happen.
The formal announcement of this alliance was made today in the joint press conference of Asaduddin Owaisi and Pallavi Patel in Lucknow. Through this alliance, preparations are being made to field candidates on more than two dozen seats in UP.
Three days ago Pallavi Patel had met Owaisi in Hyderabad. Today Owaisi is coming to Lucknow to finalize this alliance. It is possible that some seats may be announced today itself.
