Lucknow: The NSS unit of the Faculty of Law, University of Lucknow, organised a series of activities on the eve of National Service Scheme (NSS) Day to promote awareness, creativity and active participation among students.
The programme was organised at Juris Hall in the Justice A.S. Anand Administrative Building of the Faculty of Law under the guidance of Programme Officer Dr Shashi Prabha Joshi.
A trivia competition and poster-making competition were organised as part of the programme, drawing enthusiastic participation from more than 100 students. The trivia contest provided students with an opportunity to test their knowledge and general awareness, while the poster-making competition offered a platform for creative expression and sharing ideas on various themes.
The active participation of students reflected their interest in social awareness, creativity, community engagement and responsible citizenship. The activities also helped familiarise students with the spirit and objectives of the National Service Scheme.
The pre-NSS Day activities concluded successfully amid enthusiastic participation, creating an engaging atmosphere ahead of NSS Day on September 24. The organisers said such activities provide students with opportunities to connect academic learning with social responsibility and community participation.
