Ayodhya: Nishad community has expressed satisfaction over the action being taken by the Yogi Adityanath government in the case of gang rape in the town.
On Wednesday morning, representatives of Nishad community met the Chief Minister in Ayodhya. The Chief Minister also assured everyone that the culprits of the shameful act with the girl will get the harshest punishment, no one will be spared. During the meeting that lasted for about 15 minutes, half a dozen representatives of Nishad community justified the action being taken against the accused SP leader.

In the case of gang rape of a minor in Bhadarsa town, SP leader Mueed Khan, a close aide of Faizabad MP Avdhesh Prasad, and his servant Raju have already been arrested by the police. During the monsoon session of the Assembly, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had condemned the incident in harsh words and said that the culprits would not be spared, and also condemned the Samajwadi Party for having a soft corner for the accused.
The Chief Minister met the victim’s mother and assured her of strict action. Also, on the instructions of the CM, the member of the State Child Protection Commission also met the victim and her family and consoled them. Apart from this, an amount of five lakh rupees was immediately provided by the Chief Minister to help the victim’s family. The representative board of the Bharatiya Janata Party also met the victim and her family and assured the Yogi government of strict action against the accused.

In view of the seriousness of the incident, on the instructions of the Chief Minister, not only Purakalandar police station in-charge Ratan Sharma and Bhadarsha outpost in-charge Akhilesh Gupta were suspended, but an investigation of the main accused’s property was also started.
After which the Revenue Department has found about half a dozen illegal properties of the main accused SP leader Mueed Khan.
