Lucknow: Gomti Park built at 1090 intersection will once again be bustling with activity. For this, the musical fountain which has been closed for three years in the park will be restarted. Lucknow Development Authority Vice Chairman Prathamesh Kumar inspected Gomti Park and directed to start the musical fountain within three days. Apart from this, instructions were given to beautify Samtamulk and 1090 intersections. Under which, attractive works of horticulture will be done along with facade lighting and landscape at both the intersections.
Vice Chairman Prathamesh Kumar first inspected Gomti Park. Where he sought answers from the concerned officials on finding the number of visitors very low. It was found that the musical fountain installed in the park has been closed for three years, due to which not many people come to visit here. On this, the Vice Chairman directed that the musical fountain should be restarted within three days. The entry ticket rate should be kept at Rs 25 as before and the fountain should be operated from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
After this, he inspected the parks built in block-1, 2 and 3 of 1090 intersection. Where dirt was found on the path-way, and the grass in the park was not cut. Apart from this, the lights installed in the parks were also found to be faulty. On this, the Vice Chairman reprimanded the administrators and gave an ultimatum to improve the system within a week. He instructed that if the deficiencies are not removed within the stipulated time, the salary of the concerned officers and employees will be stopped.
He said that the cleaning workers of the Memorial Committee posted in the office of Women Power Line should be removed from there and deployed in the work of cleaning the outside area.
The River Front will be made useful for the general public
LDA Vice Chairman Prathamesh Kumar inspected the 6 kilometer long stretch of Gomti River Front. Where he directed that the river front from Gomti Barrage to Daliganj Bridge should be divided into clusters of 500-500 meters. Making each cluster useful for the general public, kids zone, play-area and parking should be developed. Also, different types of recreational activities should be conducted. For which a detailed proposal should be prepared and tenders should be invited as soon as possible.
Amrit Vatika will be opened for the general public
The Vice Chairman inspected the Amrit Vatika built by LDA near Hanuman Setu. Where he directed that the rate of entry ticket to Amrit Vatika should be fixed and it should be opened for the general public. So that people can come here to visit with their families. On this occasion, Garden Officer Shashi Kumar Bharti, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Samajik Parivartan Sthal Manager Yemen Hafiz, Assistant Garden Officer Mohd. Imran and Assistant Engineer Vishal Yadav along with other officers and engineers were present.
