Lucknow – The girls of the residential hockey hostel at K.D. Singh Babu Stadium, under the Regional Sports Office, Lucknow, have achieved remarkable success in various state and national-level hockey competitions. Their consistent performances have brought laurels to Uttar Pradesh.
National Achievements:
- 68th School National Competition – Won the bronze medal in the Under-14 category, held in Madhya Pradesh from December 7-14, 2024.
- 68th School National Competition – Secured a bronze medal in the Under-19 category, held from January 29 to February 2, 2025.
State-Level Achievements:
- Senior Open State Women’s Hockey Tournament – Winners, held in Barabanki from January 3-5, 2025.
- State-Level Sub-Junior Girls’ Hockey Competition – Winners, held in Etawah from January 10-14, 2025.
- State-Level Junior Girls’ Hockey Competition – Runners-up, held in Gorakhpur from February 4-9, 2025.
- Senior Open State Women’s Hockey Tournament – Winners, held in Jhansi from February 19-24, 2025.
- Senior Open State Women’s Hockey Tournament – Runners-up, held in Balrampur from February 24-28, 2025.

The hostel’s dedicated coaches, Ranjana Gupta (International Coach) and Lata Chaudhary (Assistant Coach), played a crucial role in mentoring the girls toward these achievements.
