“There is a greater need for prevention and screening,” she asserts, citing that nearly 30,000 to 40,000 lives are lost annually to cervical cancer due to the lack of timely vaccinations and widespread awareness. She stresses the importance of outpatient department (OPD) facilities, explaining that many individuals remain unaware of the initial symptoms and the necessary tests for early detection. According to her, leveraging multimedia and various communication platforms can play a crucial role in spreading awareness about women’s health issues. “When influencers or idols speak up on social media about women’s health, it creates awareness and leaves a lasting impact,” she remarks.

Balancing home and profession is no easy feat, but she believes that inspiring and motivating young minds towards a women-friendly approach is crucial for societal progress.
