Bareilly | A spirited cycle rally was organised at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University to mark Gujarat Foundation Day, promoting awareness about healthy living, environmental sustainability, and responsible citizenship.
The rally commenced at 5:00 PM from the university’s administrative building, drawing enthusiastic participation from faculty members, officials, and students. More than 50 students actively took part, spreading the message of fitness and eco-friendly practices.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. K.P. Singh, Controller of Examinations Sanjeev Kumar Singh, Prof. S.S. Bedi, Prof. Yatendra Kumar, Dr. Saurabh Mishra, Dr. Atul Katiyar, along with other faculty members and staff, were present on the occasion. The event was coordinated by Dr. Ajay Yadav.
Participants pledged to promote the message, “Pedal Forward, Move Ahead, Bring Change,” emphasising the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle while protecting the environment.
The initiative highlighted the university’s commitment to engaging students in socially meaningful activities while celebrating national unity and cultural diversity.
