Lucknow: Bhatkhande Sanskriti University successfully conducted the final rehearsal for the closing performances of its month-long Summer Workshop, paving the way for a series of grand cultural presentations scheduled for June 24 and 25.
The workshop, which began on May 26, brought together aspiring artists across a wide range of disciplines. During the rehearsal, students and instructors from all university departments participated enthusiastically, fine-tuning their performances with dedication, discipline, and teamwork. The session focused on ensuring seamless coordination and high-quality stage presentations ahead of the concluding events.
Participants rehearsed a diverse repertoire of vocal, instrumental, and dance performances. Faculty members guided students on artistic expression, stage presence, synchronization, and overall presentation standards to enhance the quality of the final showcase.
The summer workshop offered training in several disciplines, including classical and light vocal music, folk songs, tabla, pakhawaj, dholak, sitar, violin, western guitar, flute, harmonium, keyboard, Kathak, Bharatanatyam, folk dance, sarangi, sarod, painting, and clay modelling. A special dance workshop for autistic children was also organized, reflecting the university’s commitment to inclusive and accessible arts education.
Students demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm and commitment throughout the training programme, highlighting their passion for learning and artistic development. Instructors provided final guidance during the rehearsal to help participants deliver confident and polished performances.

The concluding presentations will begin at 3:00 PM on both June 24 and June 25 and are expected to showcase the creative achievements of the participants before audiences.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Mandavi Singh said the university remains committed to nurturing the creative and artistic potential of students. She emphasized that such platforms help build confidence and provide valuable opportunities for practical performance experience.
Registrar S. P. Singh noted that workshops of this nature play a vital role in the holistic development of students. Appreciating the efforts of both participants and instructors, he described the successful rehearsal as a strong foundation for the upcoming finale.
The university stated that the primary objective of the workshop is to refine students’ artistic talents while providing them with hands-on exposure to stage performances. The grand closing events on June 24 and 25 will feature a vibrant display of talent across multiple art forms, celebrating a month of intensive learning and creative growth.
