Bareilly: A meeting of the Research Committee of the Department of Business Administration at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Bareilly, was held to guide students in selecting innovative, contemporary and practically relevant topics for their research projects.
The meeting was conducted for the selection of research topics for third-semester students. The committee emphasised the need for research that addresses emerging developments in the business and industrial sectors while maintaining academic relevance and practical utility.
Students were encouraged to explore emerging areas in finance, human resources, information technology and international business. Discussions covered research opportunities in artificial intelligence, human resource analytics, digital transformation, financial technology, digital banking, data analytics, cybersecurity and technology-driven business processes.
For research topics related to human resources, information technology and international business, expert guidance was provided by Prof. Trilochan Sharma, Prof. Sanjay Mishra and Prof. Tulika Saxena. Dr. Nandita Sharma attended as research supervisor, while Dr. Manjula Singh served as coordinator.
For finance-related research, guidance was provided by Prof. Trilochan Sharma, Prof. A.K. Sarkar and Dr. Saurabh Verma. Dr. Nandita Sharma served as research supervisor and Dr. Varsha as coordinator.
The committee advised students to select topics with clearly defined research problems, adequate data availability, scope for analysis and practical applicability. Emphasis was also placed on understanding current challenges facing industry and business and exploring potential solutions through research.
The meeting was held under the leadership of Dean Prof. Trilochan Sharma, with the department focusing on encouraging new approaches and strengthening research-oriented academic work.
