Patients’ Care is the Highest Commitment, Says Bareilly DM

Bareilly: As part of the “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan” being organised in Bareilly to mark 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public service, District Magistrate Avinash Singh visited the District Hospital and District Women’s Hospital and distributed fruits to admitted patients and chocolates to children.

During the visit, the District Magistrate interacted with patients and their attendants to enquire about their health and the facilities being provided to them. He inspected various wards and directed doctors and hospital authorities to ensure quality, sensitive and timely healthcare services.

Singh said the objective of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan was not merely to publicise government schemes but to ensure that sensitive and effective public service reaches every section of society.

He directed the hospital administration to pay special attention to cleanliness, availability of medicines, drinking water, seating arrangements and other patient facilities.

Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Purnima Singh, Chief Medical Officer Dr Vishram Singh, Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr Laik, the Chief Medical Superintendent, senior doctors of the District Women’s Hospital and other health department officials were present during the visit.
