Bareilly: A grand flag hoisting ceremony was organized at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University to mark the upcoming ‘Youth Parliament’ programme scheduled for May 5. The event took place at the Department of Business Administration and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members.
The ceremony was inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor Prof. K. P. Singh, who hoisted the national flag and addressed the gathering. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of democratic values and urged students to actively engage in understanding the parliamentary system and governance.
On the occasion, students who delivered outstanding performances in sports competitions organized under the Gujarat celebration were also felicitated. The Vice-Chancellor, along with Sports Secretary S. S. Bedi Singh, jointly presented medals to the winners, encouraging them to continue striving for excellence in both academics and extracurricular activities.
The programme was efficiently conducted by Dr. Tulika Saxena. Several senior faculty members, including Dr. P. B. Singh, Dr. Sanjay Mishra, Dr. Trilochan Sharma, and Dr. Saurabh Verma, were present on the occasion.

Faculty members extended their best wishes to students, encouraging them to remain prepared for future challenges and to continue progressing with dedication and determination.
The event concluded on a note of enthusiasm and renewed energy, setting the stage for the upcoming Youth Parliament programme.
