Lucknow: The third day of the 15th International Children’s Film Festival (ICFF-2026), organised by City Montessori School, witnessed enthusiastic participation from thousands of students who gathered to experience a diverse range of educational and value-based films.
Held at the CMS Kanpur Road Auditorium, the event began with a ceremonial lamp lighting, setting the tone for a vibrant day of cinema and learning. The occasion was graced by actors Lalit Parimoo and Aniruddh Dave, along with child artist Aarav Shukla, who interacted with students and added excitement to the festival atmosphere.
The week-long festival, being held from April 6 to 12, aims to promote character building and holistic development among children through meaningful cinema. On the third day, students enjoyed a wide selection of films focusing on themes such as friendship, empathy, science, environment, and moral values.
Many students shared positive feedback, noting that films are an engaging way to learn life lessons. Several remarked that while traditional moral science classes may not always capture attention, storytelling through cinema makes values more relatable and impactful. Others described the festival as a perfect blend of entertainment and education, especially after examinations.

During an afternoon press interaction, Lalit Parimoo described the festival as a unique and inspiring initiative that encourages young minds to follow the path of goodness. Aniruddh Dave highlighted its role in building social awareness among children, stating that such platforms leave a lasting impression on their thinking and aspirations. Aarav Shukla expressed his admiration for the festival, calling it a “treasure trove” of some of the finest children’s films from around the world.
The festival continues to emerge as a significant platform for nurturing values, creativity, and global awareness among children through the power of cinema.
