Lucknow: In a moment of pride for the city, Pooja Garg from Lucknow has taken over as the 43rd National President of the FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) for the 2026–27 term, outlining an ambitious roadmap focused on women’s empowerment and economic leadership.
Addressing a press conference held at prominent Hotel, she emphasized her commitment to building an enabling ecosystem that promotes entrepreneurship, industrial participation, and financial independence among women. Garg stated that her tenure would prioritize strengthening institutional capacity while expanding FLO’s impact across India and beyond.
Articulating her vision, she said, “Strength Within, Scale Beyond” will serve as the guiding theme for the year, focusing on deeper coordination among chapters and scaling FLO’s national and global presence. She described FLO as more than just a network, calling it “a powerful institution driven by leadership, collaboration, and meaningful impact,” dedicated to shaping India’s economic and social future.
Highlighting key focus areas, Garg noted that initiatives under her leadership would center on sustainability, innovation, skill development, entrepreneurship, and leadership. She also underscored the critical role women will play in India’s journey towards Viksit Bharat 2047, stressing that FLO aims to actively contribute to shaping this narrative.
Meanwhile, the FLO Lucknow Chapter announced its new leadership team, with Simran Sahni taking charge as Chairperson. A seasoned nutritionist and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience, Sahni is the co-founder of Health Zone & Wellness and Kiros Foods.

The newly formed Executive Committee includes outgoing president Vandita Agarwal, Senior Vice President Devanshi Seth, Vice President Nivedita Singh, Treasurer Mitali Oswal, Secretary Pragya Agarwal, and Joint Treasurers Aditi Jaggi Rastogi and Vasudha Jain.
In addition, Swati Verma has assumed the role of National Initiative Lead – Exports, further strengthening the chapter’s national engagement.
The Lucknow Chapter also continues to maintain strong representation in FLO’s National Governing Body, with members including Madhuri Halwasiya, Anju Narain, Swati Verma, and Arushi Tandon.
With new leadership at both national and chapter levels, FLO is poised to accelerate its mission of fostering inclusive growth and empowering women as key drivers of India’s economic progress.
