A Park, A Pulse, A Festival: Boho Fest Day 1 Redefines Celebration

Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh | Lucknow woke up to a beat it had never felt before. Boho Fest, the city’s first-ever music and cultural festival, exploded onto the scene, turning Janeshwar Mishra Park into a sprawling playground of sound, colour, and chaos-in-the-best-way. From the first chord to the fading sunset, Day 1 was an unapologetic celebration of music, art, movement, and sheer human energy—a festival that refused to sit still.

The day opened on the Indie Stage, where The Last Cigarette Theory and Nacheez set a mellow, hypnotic tone. The air buzzed with anticipation, a curious mix of casual wanderers and hardcore festivalgoers soaking in every note. Then came Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, her voice slicing through the park like a sonic spark. Performing in Lucknow for the first time, she didn’t just sing—she owned the space, turning heads and hearts, leaving an imprint that the city won’t soon forget.

Meanwhile, the EDM Stage refused to let anyone stay seated. Pulsing basslines and relentless drops sent waves of bodies swaying, jumping, and losing themselves to the rhythm. Across the park, multiple stages created a living, breathing tapestry of sound—there was no downtime, no lull, only an unbroken chain of energy that kept festivalgoers moving and exploring.

But Boho Fest wasn’t just about music—it was an experience built to overwhelm and delight the senses. The Healing Zone offered a paradoxical calm, where Tai Chi and Qigong breathwork sessions created sanctuaries of stillness amid the chaos. The Art Forest invited wandering eyes and open minds, showcasing local artists whose work added colour, narrative, and soul to the sprawling park.

The Flea Market and Food Market buzzed with commerce and curiosity—visitors eagerly supported homegrown brands and artisans while sampling a world of flavours that kept taste buds as engaged as ears and eyes. Families found their own haven in the Kids Zone, where laughter and activity spilled over, proving that Boho Fest was unapologetically inclusive, designed for every age and every kind of festivalgoer.

As night fell, the park glowed with anticipation for Rabbi Shergill and DIVINE, who were ready to lift the festival into a different stratosphere. Day 1 had already made a bold statement: Boho Fest wasn’t just a new festival—it was a movement, a fearless reimagining of what live culture in Lucknow could look like.

By the time the last note faded, one thing was clear: Lucknow had entered a new era, and Boho Fest was leading the charge.
