Maj Gen Maneesh Kukrety assumed the command of Madhya Uttar Pradesh Sub Area

(MUPSA). On taking over the prestigious appointment, the General Officer laid a solemn wreath at the Central Command Smritika War Memorial, paying homage to the fallen heroes and reaffirming the Army’s steadfast commitment to duty, honour and sacrifice.

Addressing all ranks on assuming command, the General Officer exhorted them to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, discipline and dedication, while continuing to strengthen operational, administrative and welfare initiatives across the Sub Area. He emphasised that the Sub Area must remain steadfast in its core responsibilities, particularly the welfare of serving personnel, veterans, Veer Naris and their families residing within its area of responsibility, including Lucknow.

Prior to this appointment, Maj Gen Maneesh Kukrety served as the Commandant of the JAT Regimental Centre, Bareilly. He brings with him a distinguished and diverse portfolio of operational and administrative experience, having held key command and staff assignments that contribute to his deep understanding of organisational, welfare and operational imperatives.

With his assumption of command, MUPSA looks forward to continued progress and enhanced synergy in ensuring seamless administration, robust civil–military cooperation and sustained welfare of the extended Army community.
