Smt. Ravi Seva Kendra Distributes Tea and Biscuits at KGMU Trauma Centre

Act of Kindness Brings Warmth and Relief to Attendants of Patients

Lucknow: In a thoughtful gesture of compassion, Smt. Ravi Chawla Cancer Seva Kendra organized a tea and biscuit distribution drive for attendants of patients outside the Trauma Centre of King George’s Medical University (KGMU) on Sunday. The initiative aimed to provide comfort and relief to those accompanying their ailing family members, especially during the chilly winter mornings.

A large number of people benefited from this humanitarian effort. The centre’s coordinator, Amit Kumar, shared that the organization conducts such drives every winter, ensuring that attendants who arrive from Lucknow and nearby districts for emergency treatments receive warmth and care through free food and refreshments.

“For the past five years, Smt. Ravi Cancer Seva Kendra has been serving cancer patients and others in need,” said Amit Kumar. “Our initiatives include free distribution of food, medicines, and arranging complimentary medical consultations for patients.”

The service event also saw the active participation of Naman Dixit, Director of Lok Bharti Inter College; Minaj Sugra, Head of NobleRe Society; and Amit Sharma, all of whom extended their support to make the program a success.

Through such consistent acts of service, Smt. Ravi Seva Kendra continues to uphold its mission of compassion, ensuring that care extends beyond the hospital wards to touch the lives of those who need it most.
