Lucknow: In an electrifying display of teamwork and strategy, Uttar Pradesh’s Miraya Agrawal and Delhi’s Manvi Rathi emerged victorious in the Girls’ Doubles category at the AITA Super Series Under-18 Tennis Tournament. The duo defeated Delhi pair Sneh Nandal and Vaishnavi Singh 6-3, 7-5 in the final, showcasing remarkable composure and tactical brilliance, especially during the second set when their opponents staged a strong comeback.
Earlier, in the semi-finals, Sneh and Vaishnavi overcame Ruhin and Dyuti in a thrilling three-set match, winning 6-4, 1-6, 11-9. Miraya and Manvi also had a nail-biting semi-final victory against Diya and Adya, with scores of 1-6, 7-6(5), 10-7.
In the Boys’ Singles category, Uttar Pradesh’s Rishi Yadav, Anuj Kumar, and Sanidhya Dwivedi advanced to the semi-finals. In notable quarter-final matches, non-seeded Anuj Kumar defeated his brother and fifth-seeded Anuruddh Kumar 6-2, 6-2. Third-seeded Rishi Yadav overcame Maharashtra’s Viren Suryavanshi 7-5, 6-2, while eighth-seeded Sanidhya Dwivedi beat Haryana’s Yaj Malik 7-5, 6-1. Telangana’s sixth-seeded Raghav Prabhu also caused an upset by defeating top-seed Harsh Malik 6-4, 6-3.
In Girls’ Singles, Delhi’s Mehr Sharma stunned third-seeded Vaishnavi Singh 6-4, 6-4 to progress to the semi-finals. Miraya Agrawal secured her semi-final spot by defeating state rival Ashi Shamsheri 6-3, 6-0. Top-seed Sneh Nandal cruised past Maharashtra’s Shirimoyi Kamat 6-1, 6-1, while Karnataka’s Adya Chaurasia defeated Delhi’s Dyuti Jain 7-6(3), 6-2.

The Boys’ Doubles semi-finalists included Rishi Yadav and Sanidhya Dwivedi (UP), Kalash Kumar and Shriyansh Sahni (West Bengal), Anuj Kumar and Anuruddh Kumar (UP), and Mehr Khosla and Aarav Bhaskar (UP), setting the stage for an exciting conclusion to the doubles events.
The tournament not only highlighted emerging young talent from across India but also underscored the growing competitiveness and spirit in the nation’s junior tennis circuit.
