Lucknow— The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FoET), University of Lucknow, successfully organized a one-day hands-on workshop on “Applied Data Science and Machine Learning” under the patronage of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Manuka Khanna, and Dean, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Prof. A. K. Singh. The workshop was held on 14th October 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM, at the Seminar Hall, New Block, FoET, University of Lucknow.
While addressing the participants, Prof. A. K. Singh, Dean, FoET, encouraged students to keep pace with the rapidly evolving world of technology by “continuously updating and rebooting themselves” to stay relevant in the digital era. Dr. Zeeshan Ali Siddiqui, Coordinator, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, emphasized that the department is committed to providing students with exposure to cutting-edge technologies by organizing regular seminars, expert lectures, and workshops. Experts from Shri Balaji Infotech conducted the hands-on sessions, introducing participants to the practical applications of Data Science and Machine Learning. The session equipped students with real-world problem-solving insights and demonstrated how these technologies are reshaping industries and innovation.

The workshop was coordinated by Dr. Zeeshan Ali Siddiqui, Dr. Satya Bhushan Verma, and Dr. Ravi Krishan Pandey, who ensured the event’s smooth organization and active engagement from students. The event received overwhelming appreciation from participants for its interactive format, practical demonstrations, and industry-oriented learning experience, marking another successful initiative by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, FoET, University of Lucknow. Over 150 students from B. Tech., BCA, and MCA enthusiastically participated in the workshop, reflecting their keen interest in emerging domains of artificial intelligence, data analytics, and machine learning.
