Lucknow | A health screening camp for children was organized today at the Raj Bhavan Primary School in Lucknow under the inspiration and guidance of Hon’ble Governor Smt. Anandiben Patel.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Sudhir Mahadev Bobde, Additional Chief Secretary to the Governor, who emphasized that the initiative, inspired by the Governor, aimed at ensuring timely medical check-ups and treatment for children. He instructed medical officers to conduct thorough examinations of every child and to provide appropriate medicines through allopathic, ayurvedic, or homeopathic systems as required.
The camp featured consultations with pediatricians, ophthalmologists, ENT specialists, gynecologists, pathologists, and TB specialists, along with counters for ayurvedic, homeopathic, and allopathic medicines. A total of 137 children underwent health check-ups during the program.
Present on the occasion were Shriprakash Gupta, Special Secretary to the Governor; Dr. Narendra Dev, In-charge Medical Officer, Raj Bhavan; Dr. Amita Verma, Ayurveda Specialist; Dr. S.P. Verma, Homeopathy Specialist; Seema Malhotra, Dentist; Dr. Preeti, TB Specialist, along with other members of the medical team and students of the Raj Bhavan Primary School.
