Children Listen to Shabari’s Story at International Ramayana Conclave

Winners of Vedic Science Quiz Competition Awarded

Lucknow: Over a thousand students from various schools in Lucknow participated in the International Ramayana Conclave, where they listened to the story of Shabari and answered questions related to Ramayana, Vedas, and Uttar Pradesh tourism, winning prizes for their knowledge. The first two sessions of the event, organized by the Department of Tourism and Culture at Jupiter Hall, Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, were conducted with the collaboration of the Folk Culture Research Institute on Monday. The third session featured a magic show titled “Ram Se Rashtra” by magician Rakesh Srivastava, while the fourth session included an interactive dialogue on “Global Shri Ram” with renowned actor Ashutosh Rana. The final session concluded with the theatrical performance “Hamare Ram Mahanaatya.”

The event commenced with a Saraswati Vandana. Storyteller Jitesh Srivastava narrated the tale of Shabari, covering her journey from her past life to her childhood in the next, culminating in her meeting with Lord Ram. The narration included poignant moments of Shabari’s unwavering devotion from youth to old age.

The Vedic Science Quiz Competition witnessed participation from students of Ram Swaroop Memorial School, St. Joseph’s College, Bal Nikunj School & Colleges, Maharaja Agrasen Public School, and Navyug Public School. Advisor to the International Ramayana and Vedic Research Institute, Ashutosh Dwivedi, felicitated the winners. Sudha Dwivedi, Secretary of the Folk Culture Research Institute, expressed gratitude to school administrators and teachers for their support.

The event saw the presence of several distinguished personalities, including Abha Shukla, Dr. Karuna Pandey, Archana Gupta, Dr. Ashutosh Krishna, Richa Mathur, Engineer Ajay Srivastava, Seema Agarwal, Ekta Shukla, Shyamli Tripathi, Ankit Gupta, Richa Pandey, Reema Sharma, Kamta Prasad, Meera Rastogi, Kuldeep Kumar, Nisha Shukla, Ranjeet Yadav, Himanshu Maurya, Chitra Sharma, and Surbhi Srivastava, among others.
